Who is this course for?

This new RQF qualification is suitable for learners working in adult care who wish to develop further, specialist skills and knowledge in their area of responsibility which enables them to lead in areas such as assessment or enablement. Learners could work in a variety of settings in adult social care, including but not limited to residential care, domiciliary care or day centres. The qualification would also be suitable for Lead Personal Assistants who work as part of a Personal Assistant team at a senior level.

The qualification aims to develop further, specialist skills and knowledge in learners’ areas of responsibility which will enable them to lead in areas such as assessment or enablement, for example. Learners will have responsibility for assessing performance and quality of care delivery and they will provide coaching and mentoring to their colleagues.

Course Content

You will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence, with the support of your assessor, either paper based or online.

Your assessor will support you to choose additional optional units  and to provide suitable evidence, which can include records of discussions, assignments and recognition of prior learning.

£1400 + VAT  =  £1420

General information

There are no prerequisites for this qualification, however it is advised that you have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
